Error could not pull image from selected hub

Hello everyone,

I am using XNAT with Docker Compose, version 1.9.0. Our Docker images are stored in an Azure container registry, and we encounter the following error when pulling some images, usually the larger ones:

Error 505: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: timeout

I would appreciate any options in the XNAT configuration to improve the connection.

Do you mean docker images for the XNAT itself, or docker images that you’re using with the Container Service?

Either way, if pulling the images takes a long time, my recommendation is to pull the images onto your host outside of XNAT using the docker CLI tools. That way when you want to run a container, the image is already stored locally and nothing needs to be pulled.
