Hi all,

I've been trying out the new custom forms and for the most part they work well, but I have run into a couple of issues.

The first issue I have run into can be demonstrated below. Without the use of a tabs layout, field values display correctly:

Adding a tab layout element does not break this initially, while it has no fields within it:

But the moment a value is moved into the tab element, all values no longer display (despite the values being there when editing the page). This can be fixed by removing any element from the tabs layout and the values then display correctly again:

A second issue is related to the form edit page. Here is how the above tab element looks in the edit page, note the scrollbar on the right:

After moving the tab element to the bottom of the form, saving it and closing the edit page, I then open it up again and now there is no scrollbar, and no ability to use the mouse wheel to scroll down:

This doesn't seem exclusive to having a tab layout element at the bottom of a form, but this is where I have seen it most often. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce this fully, as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

This is on 1.8.9.1 XNAT, and the form is set for the Subject level.

Thanks,
Duncan

Hi Duncan,

Thanks for pointing out the issues and sorry for the inconvenience.

While we investigate, instead of a tab within a single form, does creating a second form with contents of the second tab work for you?

Regards,
Mohana

Hi Mohana,

Thanks for the quick response. We're still in the early stages of implementing these forms so we haven't decided on the exact requirements yet, but creating multiple forms to then have multiple tabs is a good idea/workaround if we do require tabs.

Thanks,
Duncan

Hi all,

Just wondering if this bug was looked into by the dev team. The tab feature makes the entire form input experience very clean. I'm keen on implementing that for a production project if possible.

Thanks!
Prodipta
