Hello,
I've been using the container service plugin for a long time without any issues, successfully pulling and building many images. However, recently I've encountered an error message when trying to run one of my containers:

org.mandas.docker.client.exceptions.DockerRequestException: Request error: GET unix://localhost:80/images/json: 200

I tried to check command JSON, but nothing appears, as shown in the attached screenshot, even if I add a new command, it says it is saved, but nothing appears.

Screenshot 2024-06-13 152828.png

I'm using : xnat-docker-compose: 1.8.10 and Container service: 3.4.3

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?

Many thanks

Feriel

Hi Feriel,

Did this issue crop up after updating your version of docker? If so, I'm afraid that's a known issue, and you'll need to downgrade docker for the meantime. We're working on a new version of Container Service that will support docker 25+, but it's not quite done yet.

Thanks,

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Yes exactly, I have already checked that one of the solutions is to downgrade Docker, and I did, but I still have the same issue.

Thanks a lot.

I downgraded Docker to version 24, and it works now!

Thanks

This is a known issue. The current Container Service is incompatible with Docker version 25 and above. We have a fix for this which is currently in QA and (barring any unforeseen issues) will be ready for release soon. In the meantime, if you are not able to wait, you could work around the issue by downgrading your Docker installation.

Sorry, I responded before I saw this whole discussion. (In my defense, it showed up as a different "thread" in my email client. 😅)
