Hi
Quick question. How to increase timeout for uploading bigger files to xnat?
So far I changed:
- GUI -> Site Administration -> Security -> User session timeout "60 minutes"
- /var/lib/tomcat9/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/web.xml:
<session-timeout>60</session-timeout>
Would that be enough?

Thanks

Changing it in the GUI should be sufficient, but you will need to log out and back in again to get the updated time-out value reflected in your current session.

You shouldn't need to modify the web.xml file. XNAT sets the session time-out explicitly in code when a new session is created, which is why you need to log out and back in to see the change reflected.
