The Coming of Age of Chinese Cinema

What the sharer wants to say:

1.    The arrival of Chinese cinema—at the end of 19^th centuary

2.    The rise of feature-length films—by the 1920s

3.    The “golden age ” of Chinese cinema—in the 1930s

Why it is attractive:

1.    The sharer is a big fan of movies and he taught film studies before coming to China studying Chinese culture. In the sharing meeting he will share his experience in watching Chinese movies and make some comparisons between Chinese and western movies.

2.    There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and share ideas.

3.    Roger will show some Chinese film clips during his speech. 

Everybody is welcomed to join the sharing meeting and it is a good opportunity for you to meet people who has the same interest.
