The sum up for our movie salon on December 3rd

On December 3rd we held a salon to talk about the “coming of age of Chinese cinema” at the same place. About 15 people joined the salon including two British. One was the sharer Roger and the other was a foreign teacher called Roy. The salon lasted for about two hours and we have learnt a lot about movies from the sharer.

What the sharer talked about:

The introduction of cinema into China.

How cinema were made at that time and the efforts our predecessors made to push the development of cinema.

Ps: Roger played several film clips for us to explain his introduction. One wais an early Chinese movie called “the romance of west chamber” and the others were early film clips made by Frenchmen.

We have expected our friends who have participated in our former activities can come but unfortunately many of you can’t come for some reasons. Which is a pity for our salon. We will continue our salon a week later and friends interested in it are still welcomed to come.

Kind regards

Ella Lei
