[Standards] Remote Roster Management: what's the status of this ?

G'day,

I'm doing some experiments with XEP-0114 components, and I need to
access one's roster.

After some talks, somebody pointed me out this not-accepted-yet
extension: http://jkaluza.fedorapeople.org/remote-roster.html , which
seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. But unfortunately, it has not
been updated since 27/08/10, and it's not yet accepted by the XSF. There
is an experimental implementation at least in Prosody:

So I wonder, is there any plan to accept this XEP and put the
experimental status ? Is anybody working on something similar ?
