Blather joins the Adhearsion Foundation

This week Blather became a member project of the Adhearsion Foundation. The Adhearsion Foundation is a not for profit corporation which is responsible for supporting and protecting the Adhearsion project (http://adhearsion.com), both financially and legally. Adhearsion is one of the most active users of the Blather library, and is currently maintained by myself. The original author, Jeff Smick, is no longer active on the project due to time constraints (I hear kids are hard work, Jeff!) and has decided to hand the project over to the Adhearsion Foundation to ensure its long-term survival and ongoing maintenance.

As part of this transition, the github repository has moved to http://github.com/adhearsion/blather, and future development will take place there. If you are interested in the future of Blather, the Adhearsion team (including myself) will all be present at AdhearsionConf in October; further details can be found at http://adhearsion.com/conference.
