PURL privacy

Hi,

We won't be able to upgrade to Personal Effect 4.5 for a few months,
but I was wondering if 4.5 has any new wizards/features in regards to
privacy for PURL. What do other people do? Do you create a login or
require a special code recipients would have to enter on a landing
page if you want to add security to your campaign. I think I saw
captcha features for 4.5 somewhere...

Hey Mark.

4.5 includes the RURL Wizard, which is an application which creates PURL sites for you.

One of the features of the RURL Wizard is that you can not only create the sites, but also create them from templates, thus in a matter of a few clicks have a ready PURL site.

There are several templates that come out of the box in the latest version (4.5.1) which also deals with Privacy.

Those templates are called Securl templates.

They include protecting pages with a login (which can be modified to the entire site instead of only certain pages.).

As you stated, there's also a Securl template with Captcha in the login page.

Furthermore, uCreateXM has also been enhance with a couple of more features that you'll like..

I hope you'll be able to upgrade soon, to enjoy those features..
