Hello

I'm setting up an indesign job which is using the Mail Mark type 29 (rectangle shape) barcode i'm using the following in my Uplan

XMPBarcode("CMDM_Mailmark", |->[sys_Barcode])

But when I place the barcode on the page it is coming ou as a square, if I force it to be the minimum size (24 x 8) is is streched and will not scan.

Anyone used this barcode yet, all i have used so far is type 7 and this has been fine?

Cheers

Hi

The code below should work.

XMPBarcode("CMDM_Mailmark", |->[MAILMARK_2D_29], "Size=16x48")

Hi Michael

Thanks for that, I have tried the following

XMPBarcode("CMDM_Mailmark", |->[SYS_Barcode], "Size=16x48")

but get

    Error:    line 1 character 0: Incorrect number of parameters in the function. The "XMPBarcode" Function may contain no more than -1 parameters.

Am I missing something obvious?

Have you tried uploading the plan to your Uproduce server to see if it works?

It's a known issue. When they added the extra (3rd) parameter to the barcode function, they never added it to the uPlan validation functions.

While the plan validation will report an error, if you create a proofset, or use the plan in uProduce it will work fine.

It was fixed in v7.2 or v7.21
