PDF creation issue

HI 
When we are trying to create a pdf via the api we are getting errors, 
When I try to run the exact same call via the uproduce on the web we get and error that says  : 
Fatal generic system error: InDesign process has stopped its launch unexpectedly .

I have already looked at the print spooler fix from garys in  2010 and that didn't fix it , 

Any one else got an idea.

Have you checked the job ticket in the database and compared the  job that works with the one that failes - eg:
and several others easily searched here

Sorry I have narrowed it down a little  . 
It is not the API call, as It gives me that error even when I proof  it from from the uproduce dashboard.

I even tried proof from the dashboard a prior job that ran , and it also failed.

May be a silly question, but: Have you checked the version of InDesign Server installed on the uProduce server and made sure that it is equal to or later version than the InDesign desktop that created the document?

If the server has an older version than what created the document, you will see the behaviour you describe.

If InDesign Server is failing to launch then it could be a Indesign Licensing issue.
Check if any IndesignServer Instances are running.
You can also check this by running 
<path of IndesignServer>\IndesignServer.com from the command line which will tell you if there is a licensing issue. 
You can reach out to XMPie Support to help you relicense Indesign Server.
