I would like to have a single ADOR that has the following:

[First Name], save up to [Savings]% now!

But I want "save up to [Savings]%" in red and bold.

How would I be able to accomplish this in one ADOR. I hope this makes
sense.

Thanks in advance,

Gary Skogen

go for rich text, or tagged text.

you can use InDesign tagged text format (try exporting from indesign
to tagged text and you'll see what i'm talking about). it is possible
to use it both as the value of the text file ADOR and a text ADOR.
it is possible to plant variables in such a format, which therefore
will allow you to achieve both the styling and the variability.
XNIP format is also available for that.

let me know if you need more specific help. i'm being brief here in
case you are familiar and just needed a direction.

Gary, I'm glad to see you posting...
As Gal suggested, try using a txt file ADOR instead of an txt ADOR.

The newer documentation for uCreate is not bad for the topic: "Using
Nested Composition"

This is the quick instruction set about how to do it:
1> In InDesign set your text like: {{First Name}}, save up to
{{Savings}}% now! (with the red text)
2> Select all text that you want to save
3> File:Export: Adobe Tagged Text
4> Select options for Verbose and Unicode
5> Name the file an place the file in your assets directory
6> Open uPlan and create new ADOR of type Text File
7> Add the filename to the Expressions window
8> Then go back to indd and insert the ADOR where you want the text to
display
9> Select the text and right click to Dynamic Text Properties... Click
"Enable Nested Composition"

Thanks Ed! I'll give that a shot.
