Hello and thanks in advance for any insight.

uStore v2.5

I've done a system/mall config in uStore for our e-mail server to
enable e-mail notification.
I'm not getting any e-mail returns based on the trigger/rule for order
placed.
The documentation refers to "the ErrorLog table" in the uStore
database, ErrorText column to diagnose problems.

I can't find the database on our server.
Is there a directory I should be looking for?
Also to get the the error log do I need to do a SQL query or is there
some easier way?

Again, thanks for any help.

This table is in the uStore database, on the "XMPie built-in" SQL
Server.

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express, a free-of-charge tool
which is often installed on the server when SQL Server itself is,
should help you browse the databases, tables and data.

It should also help you edit, delete data, so take care!

Hi Bill (both of you Bills)

uStore 2.5? it's a version from 2007. i suggest you upgrade soon.
In 3.5 the logs are all on text files.

Thanks very much Guillaume,

I had found that tool and peaked into the database but as you say,
"take care"! I'm going to have a db friend look before I do any
potentially bad exploration. I'm thinking this problem is more about
resolving the mail server DNS but that's a little beyond the group
focus and well beyond my knowledge base. My db friend will hopefully
give the clues I need to look in the right place.

Really appreciate the timely response!

Thanks Guy,

3.5 sounds like it's much easier to troubleshoot - just what I need!
I've got to make this work before I talk about upgrades so I can't
thank the group enough for help with the older version!
