Hi everyone

I'm new here, and recently discovered the XMPie products and softwares.

We'd like to launch BtoC E-commerce websites, but uStore has too few possibilities (Social networking integration, blogging, templates personnalisation, SEO and so on)

My purpose is to integrate some uStore features in open source E-commerce CMS like Prestashop, Magento, WooCommerce; document personnalization, proofs, indesign server production;

I was told that the uConnect APIs can be used in this purpose, but searched the web to see if such plugin / AddOn could have already been built. Unsuccessfully.

So, if any of you has already heard of such plugins / addons, I would really appreciate :)

Thanks for reading

Nicolas

Your Xerox Analyst can provide you with some documentation and sample applications based on uStore Connect.
If needed, he can also introduce you with some IT companies or freelance workers, who could help develop such integrations.

Hi Bill and thanks for your answer

I've started to ask IT companies to think about this project; I was just wondering if such plugins and integrations had already been developped for Open Source solutions. Apparently not ...

XMPie uProduce, uStore and Marketing Console can come with an API, which allows customers design home-made applications, without refering to XMPie.
Should you ask *XMPie* "did you integrate Prestashop, Magento, WooCommerce", their answer might be "WE did not".
Should you ask the same question to XMPie *customers*, some of them may answer "yes we did" (which does not necessarily mean that they are ready to share their dev with fellow printshops for free ;-))

I agree that CMS integrations via a Plugin or some equivalent would be great.  Another thought is integration with PHP (WordPress) websites for PURLs, etc.

Hi
Sure they would not share it for Free :) I would not ;)
Anyway, I did not expect to find it free, just trying to save time if such thing had already been developped.  Asking an IT company to create this plugin need time and money; I have money but am quite short in time :)

My number one would be Prestashop, then Magento, then others.

Hi All,

I came across this thread and thought you might be interested to know that we have just released MageXM our Magento and XMPie integration in to private beta. Something we've been working on for a year or more now here at Technique. It's currently being used to power some live sites for our clients and we have our first European beta customer on board now.

MageXM is a direct integration between uProduce and Magento allowing you to use all Magento's powerful features. It may be of most interest to people who aren't able to use uStore for a particular reason and need an alternative or for that project where you need more flexible options for pricing, payments or themes.

More information can be found here: http://www.magexm.com

We're only accepting a limited number of customers to the paid private beta, but plan to make it available to all very soon! You can register your interest on the launch site and feel free to request a demo. You'll need a uProduce server with XMPieWSAPI in order to make use of MageXM.

Hope we can provide a great option for those who are looking to use Magento for their eCommerce solution but need the personalisation power of XMPie PE.

Will
