Hello,

We have our data stored in a mySQL database, this database houses the data for recipient lists. In uStore I only see a SQL Server option. Is there a way to connect to this mySQL server in uStore datasources. What other options would there be to get that data to be accessible in the recipient lists page.

Thank you,
Junaid

I tried to create a linked server in SQL Server, however uStore was unable to read it.

uStore works only with MS SQL server. Dynamic documents that you add to uStore can use file based data, or you can use oracle/mySQL - because the production is done on uProduce server that supports these other DB formats.

Your screen shot of the SQL manager does not show high up enough to see the server name. And the screenshot of the ustore page does not show the servername, so I cannot tell if you entered the correct value.
In most cases, XMPie SQL servers will be installed with a named instance and not the default instance. Therefore, the SQL server should be referred to as SERVERNAME\INSTANCE
In most cases the SQL instance will be named XMPIE, so your server name field should be the hostname (or ip address) of the sql server followed by \xmpie

Hello Steve,

In my uStore data source dialogue, when I try any of the database names (non linked) they connect. When production runs and connects to the mySQL, I need uStore to dictate which recipients and counts. I am now trying to create a database in MS SQL which has a view pulling from the linked database data.
