I believe I've seen this described in the latest versions of FFC (6+). but there were some limitations, like it can only take filed from FTP

We have done this before by using an external bit of software that basically sets up 'watch folders'.

The utility was setup on the server to watch a particular output folder within windows and when a new file or folder was added, it would replicate it over to a designated folder on SFTP.

There are quite a few utilities that are available to do this, some free and others have a very little cost attached. An example of this would be https://www.watchdirectory.net/.
