Which version of uCreate do you have?

Do you have access to uPlan?

i constructed a simple how to vid on how to create uChart.
you can download the swf and materials from here https://xmpiecs.box.com/s/ynght73673grn1utyau3
[you need CS6, which you have]

essentially creating a chart in uCreate print goes through creating a table ADOR/Content object.
while setting up a table ADOR you can select another CSV file where the multiples data is in (like the stocks data for the ppl in the recipient list).

once you got the table ADOR just create a graphic box, then move to select the created ADOR and dbl click. right click the box, now having the chart, to setup the chart properties. you normally have to define which series (column) in the multiples data table is the one to show.

Cheers,
Gal.

I'm trying to create a chart in inDesign6 without much luck.  I'm using the trial version.

I can't get data into the chart.

uCreate Print user Guide.pdf:

p.32:  3 types of linking.  I don't have plan nor am I using ICP Port.  The only option as far as I can tell is Linking a document to a Data Source.
p. 33 Text Files (*.txt, *.csv). Note that column names must not be empty and must not have leading or trailing spaces.

Mac, only text file Data Sources (*.txt, *.csv) are supported.

I have a mac.  I tried CSV and I coudln't get data in right.  I tried two columns of data as well as two rows of data.  Neither one would create a chart.

Is there an example anywhere of how to do this?

That link doesn't work for me.  Can you put the video on you tube or yourwebsite?   Does ADOR require ICP Ports?  Is that available with the trial software?

I've tried right clicking on uCreatePrint and selecting New Content Object.  In there I select table type and browse to my csv.  That doesn't create a chart.  It shows a uchart object on my rectangle with the watermark.  Labeled in the middle is the name of my table object and [Fit Proportionally & Centered.]

The link works fine here.

Once your Table ADOR is created, and has been used to tag an InDesign graphic frame, should you right-click the graphic frame, you will see extra lines at the bottom of the contextual menu. The one labeled "uChart" (or whatever is the actual label in English) will open a popup window, which is the uChart UI, where you might need to setup the proper columns to feed the numeric values, chart labels, etc.
