Not sure how XMPie can be this...frustrating. Helvetica Neue isn't a supported font thanks to computers coming pre-downloaded with it....

My computer has it downloaded as a .ttc font rather than a .ttf so it won't allow me to upload the uproduce without replacing the fonts.

I've tried replacing it on my computer with .ttf's but the .ttc file is system-locked.

Any advice? Not sure what to do. I've had similar issues before and been told effectively "sorry, can't help" by support. Any advice?

I have a similar site that I use and tried that - when I install the ttf font, font book says "there are multiple versions of this font uploaded" and only gives the ttc one priority in indesign.

Is there a way to easily change a font's name so that doesn't keep happening? Just changing the file name isn't enough.

There are many font utilities around that may be able to help in this case.

The big trick is the location of the font on the server - there is Windows fonts folder, Adobe fonts folder, InDesign fonts folder and the uProduce campaign.
Having fonts installed in multiple locations can cause problems with different font versions in different locations.
Also, the version of uProduce can have part to play if there are multiple fonts with the same name on the server: The latest version of uProduce will use the font in the uProduce campaign, while earlier versions would use the Windows and/or Adobe fonts first.

Anyhow, while it does not help you today, I heard that the next version of uProduce will allow upload of TTC fonts.

PersonalEffect 9.3, released on July 11, 2018, is said to support TTC font packages.
