XMPie uStore 8.6 - Any workaround to have a product property on HTML generic also have a delivery weight?

Hi,

I have an HTML generic input control for a product property but i need it to have a delivery weight associated with it.

When selecting "Used in Delivery Calculation", the HTML generic input control is no longer selectable as an input control,

is there any work around for this?

I must have HTML generic as the input control, but at the same time, that product property is a heavy product that my company definitely has to charge for delivery

There is a reason that dial types are filtered when pricing or delivery calculation is selected, the values need to be known so pricing / delivery can be calculated.
If you have the uStore API you can write a custom dial.
Another option is to add another dial that can be used in delivery such as a dropdown. This can be hidden (displays:none;) from the user and controlled by your Generic HTML dial
