Good morning,

I am introducing inventory for the first time to one of our uStore projects.  Everything makes sense to me with the exception of what I'm to do with the field "SafetyQuantity".  How does it relate to the inventory counts and the low inventory trigger?  It seems to define another alert level or something, but I just can't figure it out.  I want to make sure I'm putting a proper number in that field.

thanks in advance,

Eric

Safe quantity should indicate the number that tells you that you can get out of stock soon and that you may order some supplies for example.
I hope it's helps .

Does it cause a trigger for an email to go out?  I guess I was just trying to clearly understand the difference between safe quantity and re-order trigger quantity.

I suppose it could be considered an optional field?  Or if I wanted to not use it, just leave it all zero?
