We are very new to xmpie and have just completed our first production
run from uProduce v5.3. I have 6 print campaigns for one client and
each creates a single 8.5x11 B&W letter. Each has a different data
source but all use the same plan. I created an ADOR using GetEnv
("CurRecordNumber") to print a sequence number in URHC of the page.
It appears that the record count does not reset when you change data
source, but instead continues to increment. When job #3 processed,
instead of starting at 1, it started at 10xxx. Is there a way to
reset the current record number when you for each job? Or, is there a
better way to create a sequence number when one is included in the
data?

What you are describing is quite weird.
I could not reproduce your problem with my 5.3 Build 5211 (MI1, with 2 InDesign Server CS5 instances).
I have got 2 Data Sources, both Counter-based (from 1 to 100 for the 1st one, from 101 to 200 for the second one).
I have got 2 separate documents, which I processed twice each (doc 1 data source 1, doc 2 data source 2, doc 1 data source 2, doc 2 data source 1).
In each PDF output, I can see that both the Counter and the GetCurrentRecord ADOR kindly restart from the expected value (with is "1" for GetCurrentRecord).
I would ask XMPie Support advice.

Thanx.  I will.  We're running the 5.3 beta as we haven't been pushed the 5.3 managed release.  We're one of the luck new customers that bought 6 license of cs5.5 before XMPie officially supported it.
