Hello,
We use Microsoft Exchange for our email provider and we are running into a problem where if an order is placed and an additional email, such as low inventory, also triggers our email provider stops the emails with a "Concurrent Sends" error.

Is there a way to delay a triggered email? Or does anyone have a possible workaround?

Thank you,
Jerry

You should be able to increase your SMTP Send rate.
If not then a SMTP Relay might be a good option.
I wrote a SMTP Relay Service you our Staging Server to allow end to end testing without ever sending emails to customers.
Works brilliantly in my opinion :) - Adding throttling wouldn't be difficult - a SMTP Relay make it easier to keep track of all sent emails.

I already contacted my email provider and they cannot increase the concurrent limit beyond 3.

Could you provide some more info on the Relay system?

I contacted XMPie service that recommended putting a delay on some of the emails but I have no idea how to do that. If I could put a delay on the "low inventory" alerts I think that alone would solve most of my problem.

Thank you,
Jerry

Sure I created a Windows Service using the C# Smtpserver library https://github.com/cosullivan/SmtpServer and mailkit https://github.com/jstedfast/MailKit
