Webhook Response

I am trying to use a webhook touchpoint to update a sql database but I am getting this error:

"Webhook did not respond in a timely manner" 

Using postman I can confirm my URL is updating the database using the POST value correctly. 

Is there a specific response the webhook touchpoint is expecting? 

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Perhaps a code sample would help? Also, you don't mention which webhook you are using?

This is pseudo of what I am trying to do. Said php script takes the POST data, in this case the ID and updates the record in SQL. 

url.com/updateDatabase.php

json body: 

{

    "id ": " {{ID}}"

}

I tested with the same webhook.site you suggested, and I don't get your result:

Clicking "log" in circle shows the expected "200" http response.

Not sure how you got the webhook.site to switch from GET to POST?

Hola, yo tuve el problema con SMS. Y era porque Circle necesita tener una conexión HTTPS (SSL) para que pueda enviar (POST) a una URL de destino.

Agregué un SSL en mi servidor destino y logré hacerlo funcionar.

External Touchpoint will only work with PUT or POST.

GET is not an available option.

There was a space in my JSON body that was causing the issue, ugh! 

Change this: 

{

    "id ": " {{ID}}"

}

To this: 

{

    "id ": "{{ID}}"

}
