Hi there! Has anyone had issues opening Indesign/Ucreate files with jumbled text, like this
Capture.PNG this is supposed to be an address

If I close the file and then re-open it corrects itself.  It seems to be random and not all the text in the file. Just wondering if someone could explain what is happening and if it can be stopped. We are working in a virtual environment with Windows server 2019, InDesign 18.3 and Ucreate 12.2.
Thanks in Advance.

I'd suggest you log a support case with XMPie - I have not seen that before.

Thanks couch, I do have a case in, but it's random and I don't think they'll be able to re-create it.

I doubt it either, but they can connect with you via web conference to see what is unusual in your environment/setup and test various solutions to the problem.
I think that they are going to need a hands-on approach to identify the problem.

I suggest deleting your indesign preferences.
Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files. macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

Does it still happen if you change the font? Are you using Type 1 fonts? Helvetica Narrow? Try Minion Pro or another OpenType font.
