uEdit text layer classes

Hi, 

I am trying to add some alerts or popup on click of the text layers(dial) on the uEdit editor window. 

The click event is working with .UEdit-preview-mode class, I'd like to use it on the text layer as well. 

I am trying to add the click event to the text layer (ador/dial), but it's not working in that particular class. 

Can anybody suggest how to make it work?

Hi, 

I even tried adding external javascript, but somehow Js is not working in the uEdit editor section, not sure if it's blocked from some place or something else. 

It's like, in uEdit when we click on any Graphic Ador, it opens up a box on the right section to add Graphic ador (with galerry image selector view). but the same thing won't work for text ador, it'll not open the box to edit the form text box (it works well when we add new text, but not when we want to edit an existing layer in uEdit editor). 

All i am trying to achieve is, Just like in regular customization steps, when we edit the text in the text box, it refreshes the preview in the window, similarly when in uEdit, if we want to edit any text layer then it should open the corresponding text ador and this is only to feel it more user friendly. has somebody seen the same issue, or is it just something I am missing from the admin panel...

I don't really use uEdit, so can't comment. For the kind of customization you're wanting to make, I think it is really a question for Igor or XMPie Professional Services Team.
