Hello Everyone:

Currently Using
uStore Version: 8.3
uCreate Version: 8.0.2
InDesign Version: CS6

I've searched and found several topics related to ticket numbering, and one clearly stated that there is no QLingo based on NumCopies that would change a ticket number by +1 for each copy ordered. I've asked XMPie support and they stated I'd need to attach a Recipient List with desired number range (in this case 1-9999). I've applied a FormatNumber to have the output display as 0001 instead of 1, and have defined other Campaign Dials for EVENT_NAME, EVENT_DATE, EVENT_TIME, etc. that the customer can set in uStore.

I've tried several different ways to get uStore/uProduce to recognize the number range from the Recipient List with the customer ADOR values on each card. In other words, the event name, date, address, location, etc. are the same on every ticket, but the ticket number increases by one on each copy.

I've hit a wall on this template and could really use a second opinion. Thanks for your time and any advice provided.

Hi Derek

The campaign attached is a basic way of setting this up, then in uStore make sure you use the following settings:
  • Use recipient list is ticked in the Document template section
  • Only define the "date", "time" & "Event name" in the campaign dial setup section (do not define the number field as a campaign dial as this will overwrite the recipient list value)
  • Recipient setup tick "upload your recipient list"
  • Under Product pricing use From Value 1 and tick display as dropdown.
Then in the store front you enter your values for the event name, data and time and then click next then it will ask you to upload the recipient list.

Hope this helps!

Derek,
This is not easy to accomplish.  We had to develop a custom recipient plugin to do it.  If you want to discuss a possible solution that we have set up feel free to give me a call.  570-672-2900 ext226

Thanks
