Hi Guys,
More or less i am agree with John, what he is desperately looking for is a guide or guidance where one can learn how to setup a PHP website (Opensource site like Joomla, Wordpress) where as a backend XMPie uStore or other XMPie facilities can be used.
Here i have added UK's one of the most popular website (http://www.zazzle.co.uk/custom/photocards) which provides personalisation, I have no idea what they are using in background engine, but the user interface is very friendly, and John is looking for a solution similar to this.
Lets go through a basic workflow, Once we setup a basic PHP website where user can login and upload his/her photos, then they choose a template for photobook and this selected photos will be transferred in to a photobook, user will receive a low-res photobook PDF as a preview. So admin is going to use PHP shopping cart as a ecommerce and XMPie as a web to print tool.
The question here is HOW this PHP will talk to XMPie and which module of XMPie can be used, what would be a better way? Where should he can start once PHP web is done. Is there any case study or workflow guidance XMPie have for PHP-XMP integration?
Hope i have drawn more clear vision, please provide your input John if you have something to add.
Regards,
Pranav
