Hi

I'm using uCreate.

I have a database of 8 records that each have a start & stop number.  My problem is I need to list the numbers for each record incrementally down the page until it reaches the stop number.  For example Start number A is 500001 and the stop number is 500100.  I need the numbers to print on the page as follows:
500001
500002
500003

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Ady

It sounds like you need to use the counter datasource where you set start, end and step numbers instead of using a datasource?

If you need to use a datasource (because you have other data fields in addition to the start/stop numbers) then you need to use uPlan/uProduce together with uCreate Print.

Cheers

I thought that might be the answer.  I've managed to sort it by creating the numbers in a spreadsheet as I don't have uPlan/uProduce.  Its not the best way but it works.

Thanks again.

If it is a sequential number, you may consider using GetEnv("CurRecordNumber") function.
https://help.xmpie.com/uCreatePrint/Latest/Help/en/index.htm#t=QLingo%2FGetEnv_Functions.htm%23Current_Record_Number&rhsearch=Getenv&rhsyns=%20
you can format the number as you like.
Works in udirect as well.
