XMPL (2G omnichannel) + online payment?

Hello,

If I remember well (it was a long time ago), the XMPie "1G" campaigns (uCreate XM // ASP.Net c# // etc.) "RURL Wizard" was shipped with a few workflow templates that could feature some online payment mechanism in the end (was it with Paypal already?? Too far ago to remember accurately...).

Obviously, 2G campaigns are much more "opened to the World", so I assume that XMPie did not ship any integrated online payment mechanism - OK, there's a nice Paypal "Enhancer" in Circle; but - as all other Enhancers, it's a nice, empty nutshell that can be added into the Plan, but there's nothing more in the Build > Library.

Q: do you guys have any successful experience in integrating an online payment service with an XMPie 2G campaign?

We were able to integrate Authorize.NET and it works great.

We've used it for several years with an annual GivingTuesday campaign. This year, we pushed almost 300 Credit Card transactions through the 2G campaign in a 24 hour period without any issues.

Personally I would never trust a Client Side only payment gateway process.

I would always recommend creating a Server Side application and adding XMPL to that application.
