Mike, have you looked in the manual/help files?
For field 'x'
FormatNumber(x, "£#,###,##0.00") will format numbers up to 10m-1, but doesn't round past 2dp like Excel would, so if you have numbers you need to round, add Round(x, 2) in place of x
Both of these will error if null so you need to check that first, and add a test.
