I'm having a hard time generating an intelligent barcode in uDirect
(XMPie Version 4.6.3). I had no trouble with the QR Code option but I
need help with intelligent barcode. The data/spreadsheet is using a
one code field that looks like this...

TDFTFADTTATAFFAFDFTDAADTADAFTATFDTTAAADFDFFFAADFATADDFTFDAFATDFDA

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That looks correct, you need the barcode font.

Indeed. QR codes render postscript directly, where's 1D codes require styling with the appropriate font.

I use “USPS4CB” True Type font that came with our “Accuzip” program.  Set at 16pt.

The Intelligent Mail Barcode font is also available for download directly from the USPS:

Hi,
possibly appropriate - uDirect/uCreate print supports intelligent mail
barcodes through the XMPIntelligentMail function since version 5.0.

Sergio did you get this figured out? Your data field looks correct, you
just need to apply the correct font. There is an IMB font from XMPie. I
think it's called XMPOneCode.ttf

Not sure if you can control the data handed to you. Meaning 31
numbers rather than the Ascender ,Descender, Full (ADFT coding).
XMPie in version 4.6.x using the Postal One Code method for generating
an IMB (extended function checked, XMPOneCode) needs an input string
of 31 numbers and not the ADFT encoded string. Not saying you can't
do it with the ADFT string, just saying I use the XMPie logic to
generate the code and checkdigit.

When you set up your logic I set the XMPie ador to use a new character
style right from the new content object, apply style box (name it
whatever you want) and the only thing you need is to set a Tracking
value of 60. This is to correct the XMPie 4.6.x font "XMPie OneCode"
so that meets USPS guidelines for the length of the code falling
between 2.75" and 3".

Not sure if any of this helps you, but I thought I'd pitch it in
there.
