 Contractor needed to support the Value Based Care Model Project, which is one of the work streams in Health Care Reform.    Creating new value that will appreciably bend the cost curve for all Americans requires new ways of aligning incentives and sharing data between providers and plans, and doing so in a way that is attractive to a diversity of potential 

REQUIRED:

 Health care experienceSolid communicationExperience in gathering and documenting requirements and business processes as they pertain to EDI transactions Work as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies for one or many information systemsDefine and document business, user, functional, and system requirements using appropriate documentation techniques to describe statements of the goals, objectives, or needs of a particular stakeholder or group of stakeholders (on projects of high complexity)Work with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategiesTranslate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specificationsObtain consensus by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementationProvide estimates for project management and change management activities through analysis of requirements effort, resources, and technologyParticipate in formulating and defining system solutions and objectives, based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
