The Business Objects Administrator may be responsible for:
• Troubleshooting support tickets for operational issues
• Working issues outside of the normal M-F 8:00-5:00 work hours
• Building improvements in Monitoring
• Managing security
• Working through a root/cause analysis and following up on action items
• Applying patches and upgrades as necessary
• Managing Promotions of reports through the Development, Test, Production process
• Performing as a member on projects where Business Objects infrastructure expertise is required
Basic/Required:
• 3+ years experience supporting Business Objects XI 3.1 from an infrastructure perspective
• 3+ years expertise of the Central Management Console which includes the ability to administer, deploy, install and configure Business Objects
• 1+ years experience in Security Model for XI 3.1
• 1+ years working knowledge and usage of Infoview, Crystal and Webi
• 1 + years in infrastructure background
• 1+ years experience in a troubleshooting and problem solving environment.
• Ability to share on-call duties with other staff members in order to provide 24X7 support for Business
• Objects/Crystal environments
