What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Write an RFC
2. Select XML2RFC->Convert->Convert to PDF using XSL-FO
3. Using current FOP via macports

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Errors occur. The patch attached fixes the first one. However errors
still occur regarding

fo:list-item-label is missing child elements.
Required Content Model: marker* (%block;)+

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

current releases of xmlmind professional, xml2rfc on snowleopard.
