Actually in this land but I needed a cutesie title!

I used to know of a couple of groups in the Utah area that would help
each other search for things.

I will make up an example or two of what would happen...

1)
I would post a message saying that I was looking for Black and Decker
model 1121 coffee maker in black.

Someone who would be standing in Doug's Hardware would have read my
message and post that they had seen one there when they got home.

2)
I need to find someone who does a good job of yard maintenance and
would post same.

Five people would post with the name and number of their "yard guy"
and a quick review.

etc...

I shudder to admit that this was back in the dial up days when my
Xmission account was still shiny but still given the leaps in
technology and the ability to send/receive messages from my phone or
PDA or whatever I would rather hope that there is something new and
even more shiny.

Can anyone point me in the direction of such a search forum or twitter
or atom or ... ...?

Thank you for the reply, apologies for my late response life has been
complex at best recently.

Personally I have found Craig's list unworkable but maybe I need to
give it another chance with a different theory.

KSL was not one I had considered.

Actual email is 'wblalok .at. xmission .dot. com' to reply
