By unusable I mean that I can't use the arrow keys in emacs: I hit the
key, nothing seems to happen, and then a few seconds later the cursor
finally moves. Not just occasionally, but consistently over the last
few days. Running uptime shows:

I hope this isn't going to turn into a permanent situation.
