Hi,

Is anyone still here?

It looks like I'm going to have to switch ISPs--not because I wanted
to; I've been an XMission customer for a long, long time.

I don't have a lot of XMission mail, but I would like to forward what
I have to another account so that it's accessible there. Does anyone
know of a way to do this, short of forwarding each message
individually?

Thanks,
Keith

My condolences.

I use imapsync for that sort of thing. With a bit of finagling it
usually can get email from one host to another (assuming they both speak
imap). I don't know if it runs on Windows.

Thanks, Jason. It looks like a good program I was unaware of. Looking
at the cost of the software, though, I decided to try another route. I
access both XMission and my main Fastmail account in Thunderbird, and
I found that I could just drag and drop messages from a folder in
XMission to a folder in Fastmail. It was easy to do and went quickly
because of the smaill number of messages I had.

Thanks again.

Cost of the software? The imapsync that I use is Free Software, I
simply apt-get install it on my Linux boxes.

My email store weighs in at around 5G. When I want to move it (or back
it up, for that matter), I need something a bit more heavy duty.
Depending on what I need to do I tend to use tools like imapsync, or
offlineimap, or even fetchmail. It did not even occur to me to suggest
simply using Thunderbird. I hope I did not cause you to was too much of
your time.

Sorry about that,
Jason
