I'm curious about Qwest DSL cost breakdown in Utah & Idaho for DSL
with 3rd party ISP. Is it the same?
Other than having to patiently drag the 0/32 VPI/VCI & PPPoA VC-Mux
values out of Qwest tech support people, New Mexico Qwest doesn't seem
as antagonistic as Utah Qwest seems to be.
At least, from reading xmission.general posts, it seems Utah Qwest is
antagonistic. Then again, maybe it's those particular posters...:-)

But is it the same pricing structure in all the states to which it
provides service?
Utah & New Mexico [& perhaps other states] have public regulatory
commissions that likely make different demands of Qwest.
Different demographics could lead to different pricing structures.
E.g., selecting New Mexico on Qwest's web site reveals special
international calling plans to Mexico. Selecting Utah doesn't reveal
these plans.
Yes, I realize it's s'posed to be one company; I knew that already.
But it covers more than one state.
Given the disappointment with Qwest that I read in posts from SLC, I'm
curious to know if there's really a difference in how Qwest operates
within each state, or if I'm just more tolerant &/or less demanding.
They do occasionally have regional sales to promote subscription in
newly expanded areas, however.

Hmm, I just plugged things in and they worked. :) (Of course, DSL has
been available in my neighborhood for less than 6months... They had to
put a DSLAM in at the end of the road and it took a few years.)
