Can anyone explain on a low level how it is supposed to work? It
failed for me today. (I have a 0 byte file now where I had a large
one and the crash recovery did nothing...) Where exactly is this
Crash Recovery file at? I read somewhere that it would be deleted on
next successful exit, so apparently it IS a separate file
somewhere.... but where?

Also, Is there another tmp file created anywhere I might be able to
recover using file recovery / deleted file recovery software?

Hi All

I do a test, draw a map in XMind without saving it, and then close XMind in the Task Managers(I am using Windows XP). Then I launch XMind again. I see a Crash Recovery notice to ask me if or not opening that unsaved file.
If I do not choose to open that unsaved file, that temporary files will be moved. We never have chance to open it again.
This is the crash recovery in XMind 3.0.3 I know.

As I know, this feature will be improved again in the coming new version.

Sincerely!

Stephen
