I loaded up my Xmind file this morning and all of the markers have
lost their connection and only a little red x shows where the markers
use to be. The markers picker interface is empty.... no Xmind
markers, and no personal added markers -- all gone.
Checking where they had originally been, I find that all of the source
marker files are still where they should be... the Xmind markers are
in the markers folder inside the application package file (Mac), and
my custom markers are still where they have always been. It's just
that the program seems to have lost its connection to all markers.
I noticed that this phenomenon started after I'd uploaded my map to
the share site, and saved the map file to Dropbox for syncing w/ my
iPhone (for iThoughts usage). Not sure if it has anything to do with
it.
What a mess. Looking over other posts here and elsewhere, I see that
losing markers has been a common problem, but I can't find one
solution offered by Xmind developers.
Please help. Is there a solution to restoring the lost markers? And
why are they lost in the first place???? Very concerning about the
stability of this program. Am I making a mistake committing my time
and data to Xmind? Please advise.
Thanks.
