Hi,

I need to login my Xmind software onto XMind.net.

I click on "Upload" (mindmap), it asks me for the email and password.
I type these and click Sign In..... but nothing happen.

It doesn't give error o say anything. Just like the "Sign In" button
is unfunctional.

Can you help me with this trouble?

Thank you all!

Hi

May I ask which web browser are you using?
If you are using IE 8, please try using "Tools> Compatibility View" to visit
 www.xmind.net

And please see more information at:
www.xmind.net/faq
.

Vivian

Hi Vivian,

I usually surf on Firefox or Opera. But I have all most famous web
browser installed on my PC.

My problem anyway is not directly in the browser but with the login
windows in XMind application.
I don't know which web rendering engine it uses. I guess it's Internet
Explorer but cannot know which version.
I have "Internet Explorer Collection" (all version since the first
one).

If I add "xmind.net" as domain for the compatibility mode, XMind show
me just an empty blank window. Neither the login screen. And the
window stucks...

Is there a way to specify your favorite browser as web-rendering
engine for XMind?

Thank you,
Pictor

Hi Pictor

1. Regarding XMind show you just an empty blank window. Neither the log in screen.
I guess this problem caused by your firewall. The sign in window in XMind application actually means you are visiting:
http://www.xmind.net/xmind/signin.

Maybe your firewall blocked this website.

2.  Regarding Web-rendering engine for XMind:
     In PC, it's IE
     In Mac, it's Safari
     In Linux, It's Firefox.

Regards,
Vivian

I turned my firewall off just after Windows installation.
I don't have blocked websites :(

I have many Internet Explorer versions installed on my PC (IE
Collections).
Maybe it causes my problem.
I'd like to change default browser, to avoid it...

Any way to change it and set (for example) to Firefox.
Maybe through regedit, or configuration files?

Hi Pictor

The inside browser in XMind always use IE on PC. This can not be changed at present. :(

BTW, if you have IE 8, please use IE 8 to visit XMind website and set XMind.net into compatibility list.  Hope this useful.

Sincerely!

Stephen

Damn! :-P
I'll wait it..... there is lack of *this* feature in almost all the
software that use browser features on Windows :-/

The problem is I have multiple rendering engine. And I don't know how
to specify which to use.
I also noted Javascript is not working at all on IE.
Maybe a bug of "IE Collection"

Hi Pictor

You can take a triad of XMind 3.1. There should be no problems on any major browsers.

Sincerely!

Stephen
