Hallo!

I love Xmind so far... but: The printing and export SUCKS. :-(
Printing to pdf-printer doesn't work at all. Prevented on purpose?

What I want is simple: Print (i.e. to pdf) or export my whole sheet
1:1 (i.e. font-size 12 really comes out in font size 12) in at least
150-300 dpi (600 would be better).

What xmind does is: export in only (guessed) 96 dpi (which looks
really BAD after printing), in addition with mismatching dpi-data in
the resulting file (set to 72 dpi - which leads to wrong printig sizes
if not corrected).

One workaround is: I can use the mapshot-feature on a 500%-zoomed map,
and after that fix the dpi-data in irfanview to 480 dpi (=500*0.96).
Then the size AND resolution is fine.
BUT: My map is too big for the mapshot. If I mark all (which is a long-
winded busywork), I get nothing. If I mark only parts of it, it works
the described way...
and still it is a long-winded way...

Any solutions?

Is the xmind-developer-team aware of this?

Thank You!

Hi

"Print to PDF" works here, in fact.
As you said, the quality of exported image may be not good enough for big file.
Mapshot in XMind Pro is powerful. You can select as big scale as you want.
Take a look at:  http://www.xmind.net/help/mapshot.html

Sincerely!

Stephen
