Does anyone know if there is a mind mapping software out there capable of handling very large maps? Or is there any way to speed up XMIND? Is the pro version faster? I love X Mind but I am frustrated by its limits. Any help is much much appreciated!

I use a different mind map for each week. Yesterday I came up with the idea of trying to unify my whole year on a mind map so all 52 weeks in a hierarchy to show the whole years goals broken down. However, when I created this file, It was way to slow to work functionally. I would imagine that computer programers and serious professionals would need much bigger maps than the one I made, so I dont understand how i have already reached the limits of XMinds capabilities. I am running on a 1 yr old mac running with an intel core i7.
