Hi,

I'm new to XMind. I just downloaded the latest XMind for Mac OS and it
works pretty well except a critical issue. After I compose a mind map,
I tried to save it to my disk. It seemed to be normal. When I tried to
re-open the file, however, it became an new empty document and all my
data is lost. I noticed that when I opened the file, the Outline panel
would display a messages said "Cannot access outline". I could always
reproduce this issue, which means it became useless for me. Does
anyone encounter the same problem? Or does anyone know how to resolve
this issue?

Thanks a lot.
Samuel

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm using Mac OS 10.5.6.

Hi Samuel

Sometimes, that means you file has been broken. You can try to use zip tool to open your xmind file. If it can not open it, that means this zip file format is broken. This file may not be opened again for ever.

Sincerely!

Stephen

Hi Samuel

I had the same problem - if i double clicked the file and let XMind
open, it just opens a new blank document. If you go to 'file', 'open'
when the programme is already running, it will open the saved file.

Hi Ross

XMind for Mac does not have this feature from v3.0.1 because of some reasons caused by open source policy.

Sincerely!

Ok thanks Stephen - it's no big deal. It's a good bit of software.
