Downloading MindMap from Google Drive to the XMind Map on my iPhone

I have a Mind Map designed by a friend through Mind Maps on a desktop. I can use it on my Mac (after downloading the program). I need to be able to use it from my phone, because my computer is broken. I have the Mind Map downloaded onto Google Drive, and downloaded both the XMind and Google Drive apps to my phone. I purchased the lowest priced subscription ($9.99). All my Google Drive files show up in XMind, but they are light-colored and unresponsive when I try to open any of them, most importantly my Mind Map. What is wrong??? Please help!!!!
