This project is interesting. But before even considering this as 1 of
the potential options for my project, can you pls help us understand
the below

1) Is this currently being used in any production app?
2) What is your commitment in supporting this long term. I have an
instance where the owner of the open source project I was using
stopped answering the questions on the forum, the issues raised were
not being fixed etc. So i think you get the point
3) Will a lazy parsing of the elements be supported. i.e. the
<address> element should only be parsed on the first call to
"getAddress()" method.

thx.

1) Xmappr has just been released so I have no reports yet of another people using it in production. Xmappr is used in a couple of project that I worked on. This projects are proprietary commercial projects which are still alive and using the Xmappr.

2) Yes, I'm committed to support the Xmappr for the foreseeable future. I will work on bugs promptly and will also seriously evaluate all feature requests. Please taka a look at the issues http://code.google.com/p/xmappr/issues/list to see what are some of the planned features. (on a side note: I work as a freelancer so I'm willing to discuss commercial enhancements/derivative works/support that are beyond Xmappr goals as a OSS project)

3) The answer is here http://groups.google.com/group/xmappr/browse_thread/thread/2d4a09be85cb5a7a
