DO NOT BUY XACT RADIOS!!!

If you are considering satellite radio, do *NOT* purchase a radio from
XACT Communications. They do not honor their waranty and are not
customer service oriented. I purchases a radio on June 15th and it
worked until August 21st. I talked to XACT and they determined that
the radio was defective and asked me to return it. I returned the radio
to XACT in Morrow, GA and they received it on Sep. 14th. As of today I
do not have a repaired or replaced radio, all because XACT claims I did
not follow directions in returning the product and that items are
missing. They claim an audio cable was not returned, and because of
this, they will not honor the warranty. I've pointed out to them that
the audio cable isn't broken, the radio is. On Sep. 26th XACT finally
agreed to send me a new radio, but I don't have it yet. They have been
giving me nothing but excuses as to why it has not shipped. They will
not give me a proposed ship date, I simply get, "We'll call you when it
ships". I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau for Metro
Atlanta and the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

Don't get screwed like I did. XACT products are poor quality and their
customer service is non-existent. Consider a radio from another
manufacturer, please.
