Hi Russel

I'm trying to use the "create random array" example, however when I register the code I get "#ERR the function called failed- No module named numpy'

I've activated my premium licence, have numpy installed (and working fine in python), and saved on the same path as my python (as per below screenshot) but I can't return anything to excel that uses numpy. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Cheers
James

[Running] python -u "C:\Users\jpedder\AppData\Local\Temp\1\tempCodeRunnerFile.python"
NumPy version: ['C:\\Program Files\\Python311\\Lib\\site-packages\\numpy']
1. C:\Users\jpedder\AppData\Local\Temp\1
2. C:\Program Files\Python311\python311.zip
3. C:\Program Files\Python311\DLLs
4. C:\Program Files\Python311\Lib
5. C:\Program Files\Python311
6. C:\Program Files\Python311\Lib\site-packages

Hi James,

Apologies for the delay in responding, this ended in my spam folder.

This is most likely a Python environment issue. When you register the module is your call like this?
=RegisterPyModule("c:\users\jpedder\documents\numpy.py","C:\Program Files\Python311")

Could you send the output of =PythonDetails() in Excel please? https://russelwebber.github.io/xlslim-docs/html/reference/api.html#PythonDetails

Regards,
Russel
