BDT versus XLr8Editor [ad]

Just last week there was an announcement from Rocket Software about BDT our Eclipse-based competitor for XLr8Editor. The BDT editor is no longer available through the update site. XLr8Editor, on the other hand, has had eleven releases since June 2016 while BDT has had one this year.

BDT current version of Eclipse is Luna 4.4. Rocket software is 2.5 years behind in Eclipse version the current version is Neon or 4.6. XLr8Editor had been running on Neon since Eclipse's beta program starting last year.

XLr8Editor is not free like BDT maybe that is the reason BDT looks like it is barely supported.
