Hey, folks!

XL seems like a really exciting language!
I'd like to know what's the status of it's development and whether there are any tutorials or guides for anyone interested in it.

Hi Eduardo,

XL is very much alive, although most of our energy these days is devoted to one of its applications, see http://www.taodyne.com. The language itself is only advancing slowly, because there is so much else to do with Tao. That being said, don't hesitate to ask questions.

I've been told that there is an issue with the latest LLVM to build XLR. I need to look into it. Just be aware. If you have this issue, use LLVM 2.9 and everything should be peachy.

Cheers,
Christophe de Dinechin

Eduardo,

I forgot to mention that you can find a number of tutorials under the "tutorials" section of the Taodyne web site. Most of them are also tutorials of 3D animation.

Cheers
Christophe
